This was once a land of forests. For millennia Britain’s woodlands have provided for the health and wellbeing of the people they shared this island with, a rich and constant source of inspiration, spirituality and joy.

But for centuries our forests have been shrinking. Even now, an increasing amount of indigenous forest cover is lost every year. Without change we will soon come to the point where the damage we have done is irrevocable.

Without forests, our diverse ecosystem will fail. As habitats shrink, nature retreats. Along with our wild spaces- animals, insects and plants will be lost.

Acting now can change the future. The Broadleaf Foundation, in concert with other charities across our nation, is working hard to save our forests; but we need your help.

" We have a finite environment — the planet. Anyone who thinks you can have infinite growth in a finite environment is either a madman or an economist.
